If there is, then replaceing it will improve reception, Harada makes an ant. that will work on your car, for about half the price of the OEM one.

Now, with probe you touched to ant. mast, touch it to the ground of ant. plug,[the larger part of ant. plug, you should get no reading, no continuity, if so, you don't have a short.
Now connect one probe to the ant. plug ground, [the larger part of plug] and touch the other probe to a good ground in car,[ ground for HU or lighter or any metal dash bracing] again the MM should read 000 good continuity.
Now touch the probe, [the one you touched to ground] to each of th screws that hold the mast in place, again the MM should read 000 .
If any of this does not work you have a bad ant., or a bad ground at the base of mast ,[ try removeing screws, pull ant.assmbly out 1 or 2 inchs and clean around screw holes,[ the ant. gets its ground from the 2 screws] retest, if still N/G replace.

If you want better reception, consider the placement of the antenna. The swept-back antenna that comes out of the A-pillar in many Hondas is a weaker design than a vertical antenna.
