speakers dont work...
sound only comes out of my subwoofers. so i thought i would disconnect all that stuff. but then there is just no sound.
the only way i can can sound through my speakers is if i touch the power remote (the blue one) onto something metal. itll spark just a tiny bit, and then the sound comes on. i dont understand.....
oh yeah. another thing is, if i have my car running then just turn it once back. (whatever that is. acc?) then the speakers come on...
do i have the blue wire hooked up right?

"up" trigger, if there are both the blue is for power ant. and the blue/white is for the amp/amps, both have 12v+ , [250mA] on them when the HU is on, when both are there the blue has power only when radio is on, shorting them to ground, ["if I touch the power remote, [the blue one] onto something metal"] is a nono, and why the speakers work when you do that, I don't know, or why when you turn the ign. back to acc. I would think it has something to do with wiring, are the speakers on HU power or is there an off board amp for them also? [along with the sub]

the sub has its own amp. but the speakers are running off the HU. and i believe on my HU there is only 1 blue wire.
i think it has something to do with the ignition signal. (as to the reason why if i turn it to acc the speakers turn on) like somehow its wired backwards or something. ill be tinking around with it tomorr afternoon again.
anything i should look for?

but whats up with that thing i said about the touching the power remote wires togethor</TD></TR></TABLE>Not sure whats up with the trigger wire, but it must be hooked up for the sub amp to work, I would recheck the power and grounds, make sure thar you are getting 12v or more out of the red and yellow wires of the HU harness, you can test it by running a wire from the batt., [just temp.] inside the car and connecting both the red and yellow to it and see if the problem is still there, if not, then there is a problem with the cars wireing for the red or yellow, probably the yellow, [it'f the one that powers the HUs amp.
