Speakers cutting out???
Alright, one day my speakers just stop working. Like the music and stuff stops playing. But my subs are still bumping and my deck is still playing the cd. My amp is recieving power also. Sometimes it cuts back on for a little and off, but not its completely off. It also makes the "stattic" sound sometimes.
Can anyone help? What should i look for?
TIA

Could it be a loose connection from the deck?</TD></TR></TABLE> Yes it could, the RCAs, but both at the same time is unlikely, the other is the amp trigger wire, you may evan have a problem inside the HU itself. That said, I don't think its a problem at the at the HU because the subs keep working.
You said you checked the amp, did you disconnect the speakers one at a time?

i had the same problem..may not be the same solution but i suppose you could try.
1. check the wiring, make sure no copper parts of wire are touching (if you have exposed open wire, this made the static noise)
2. check the pins from the headunit to the stock wiring harness behind the headunit (the pin for my left rear was bent, so it'd cut in and out)
thats all i did, and my problems are solved
