Default Speaker Choices

I am slowly working on replacing the sound system in my 97 civic. I have replaced the headunit with a JVC unit which is hopefully temporary until I can find a better one. I want to replace both the front door and rear deck speakers. I would like some speakers that I wont need to amplify right away but I can if i choose to later on. Low bass isnt important since im running a sub, more about the high and mids. Let me know what you suggest. Thanks!

I suggest going to an audio shop and listening to some. Everyone has different ears.

Good midbass is very important in a front stage imo..

Do you have a component or coaxial set up in your front doors? What kind of budget are you looking at? What JVC head unit do you have?

Amazon has a great deal on some Polk speakers right now, $30 shipped.
