There is also undercoating you can spray under the car. It looks like (basically is) rustproofing. It uncommon for cars to have it now cause manufactures does a better job with rust. But in many tropical area with salt "in the air" like Hawaii, most still spray them on new cars. It helps reduce road noise and the little "tinks" from rocks flying up.

Make sure the shop use the real deal and not get away by using regular rustproofing. It's a bit thicker. New car dealers (in Hawaii) charge about $250 for it.

Again, it's not going to make it a Lexus, so don't expect it to.

ok if your gonna dynamat, find a friend that can get that **** for cost. any retail price of dynamat take 1/3 off the price thats how much you should be paying. i dynamatted everything from doors to trunk lid cost 70$. also look into getting a spray acryllic. i used somthing called rattle trap it works GREAT. sprayed all my body pannels (doors, rear 1/4, and inside of trunk) cost like 30$ for 3gl tub. then with dynamat over that its the s*it, i have 2 RF he2 10's being pushed by a 500.2 and im hitting near 140db.

I've spent about 150 sq ft on my 98 accord coupe so far, but I still haven't even touched the trunk yet. Then again I did quadruple layer my doors . expect to use about 100-150 sq ft to cover the entire car. You can check out my sound deadening install at my site
