at $16 and how small of a roll that is, think about how many of those you would need to buy. I know of a cheap product that is the same as dynamat without the name brand for like half the price, works very well.

It does work. You can also take off your rear interior panels and stick some of that blue carpet padding in there. Alot of higher end car companys do this except with better materials. Newer toyota camry's have styra?foam inside the fenders.

I was planing on doing a write up on this in the spring when the weather got better.

Well I gotta go to Home Depot here soon, so I will compare sq.ft./cost, and also the thickness compared to the same of the other material I am used to using.

At $15.00 dollars a roll it would be $1.20 a sq ft for the stuff he is using in the video. Homedepot has some other stuff called peel and seal. i heard it works well.

keep us updated on the difference of the actuall intended material comparison.

$1.20/sq.ft. compared to $1.30/sq.ft. I personally would rather spend the extra $.10 for the real deal sound deadener. I'll have to see the stuff at home depot though, I'm sure it will suffice, but just as most things, there are always things that are left out.

Dynamat is a name brand, just like you can get Odyssey batteries which aren't branded by Odyssey, but made in the same factory for cheaper.
