And so it begins.
Had the car since tuesday, and have a couple days off, so figured it's way overdue for a system
Plenty o' pics -
Before, after I removed the spare and rear washer reservoir -

After airsaw and hammer -

Pre-glass, test fitting amp and building frame for box -

Action shot, was really wishing I had a respirator about this point -

After 2, 3 or 4 layers of glass -

That's it for today. Ran out of time, and was rather high.
Should have more up tomorrow

Ah Christ, any luck removing it? May be easier to just replace affected interior panels, but Goo Gone Xtreme has proven quite faithful for removing over-done aftermarket sound deadening. (Why even bother on plastic panels... >_>
Anyway, I'm watching this thread. I'd like to see this enclosure after it's somewhat done.
E: oops, no removal attempt yet I see, didn't notice it on the plastic in the pics until mentioned.

Well, at least you seem to be blessed with plastic trunk panels. Some days I think I'd prefer that to the flimsy carpet in my type of car. Do you have a hatchback of some sort? I'm not familiar with this style 'trunk', haven't seen many Honda trunks with garnish temporarily moved.
E: Also, two-man thread.

Nah. The home depot since I was getting wood there anyways.

So. Here's what we got done today -
Glassed the outside box edges and did another couple layers on the inside. Box is solid.

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the final box assembly, but it was pretty straight forward. Pre drilled all my holes and silicone sealed the edges. Bought some 1/4" foam to go between the box and the floor so it wouldn't rattle. Spray adhesive worked wonders with this stuff.

Test fitting -

Oh, painted the interfooler today too

Sub amp mounted, don't mind that the amp is "upside down" as there will be another amp mounted on top. Unfortunately the sub amp rca's weren't long enough

What it will look like once it's all done.

Going to make a false floor with an integrated grill and use security screws to help deter thieves.
Probably won't have much progress til next weekend though.
