Default Security For Your Vehicle

Well my car was just stolen not to long ago after putting over $12,000 into it from the built LS motor, paint, rims, exhaust, stereo, and turbo setup. 14.5psi making about 350whp or so.

I wanted to ask since my ex-girlfriend made a point . . . . my next vehicle I wanted to get a quick release hub and steering wheel, but is it possible for the thieves to just bring there own steering wheel or what?

Also, what are your takes on the autolock which locks up the clutch and or brake pedal? I wana know pretty much the best bang for your buck kinda security you can get since alarms don't do much these days.

There was another thread discussing removeable hubs and some people were making points that if they want to steal it theyre gonna. However this shouldnt stop you from putting one on. The point is to deter theft as much as possible. You increase the changes of detering theft the harder you make it for them to steal the car. After the removable hub im gonna eventually get the boot for the car. You pay for peace of mind as well as added security. Consider that you spent 12k on your car with upgrades while you could have spent about 1300-1500 on security (alarm, boot, removable hub) and saved all your hard work.. for the most part. As they say.. if someone reallllly wants it.. they'll flat bed it.

Flat bed makes alot of noise, won't you hear it? that mean its time to invest in some weapons.
