Default Security system different after broken in...

hi first time posting, but i registered and been here a long time already checking up on the fourms getting a lot of help.

so my car got broken into few days ago and they took my sound system, no damage to anythign though it was a clean steal which ishould be happy since no broken windows, etc. my lights didnt work anymore after that, and i checked the fuse under teh dash and one of it was broken so i replaced it and everything works fine, except for one thing.

before they broke in, my security system, when i arm my alarm my doors lock, and when i unarm it my doors unlock. but now, when i unarm it, my doors dont unlock anymore, i have to press the button twice, one time to unarm, the second to unlock. is there a way for me to fix this so that i can unarm and unlock with just one press of teh alarm like before?

long post, but thanks for lookin and the help!

'97 integra LS if that helps any, stock alarm system i believe. the brand on the remote is called "Silencer" and i think its stock, becuase my friends gf has a stock 97 ls as well with the same system in her car

Need to know what kind of alarm, but it sounds like doorlocks have been programed fot double pulse unlock, you can do this with a lot ov alarms, when wired for it, it will unlock the drivers door when you disarm the alarm, and if button pushed again, [within a sec. or two] will unlock the rest of the doors, [priority door unlock] try this, disarm, wait a good 10 sec. then hit the button again, if it rearms, then its in the programing of the doorlocks.

BTW how did they get past the alarm and locked doors? 94

i have no idea, i think they got in and quickly broke the fuse that controled the alarm and lights. cuz tahts the exact one that was broken when i checked my fuse box.

i know about pressing the button one for my driver side and twice for the rest of the alarm. the thing is, now i have to press it once to disarm, and twice to open all locks including my driver side. before it wasnt like that.

but is there a way to program it to make it open all doors the first time when the alarm is disarmed? thats the major question i want to ask, thanks.

(-) pulse and will lock or unlock all doors with one pulse, you need to find the doorlock output wires from the alarm, and connect them there, and you may still need to reprogram the alarm 94
