Default help alarm system

ok i dont know what i need, so people, plz help me dont send me to some bullshit thread, cause honda-tech is getting way to stupid lately, well anyways, my problem goes like this, i have a 2001 Honda civic ex, with the original alarm system, one day i turn off the alarm before i open the veh, went out, lost my keys and alarm controller, key no problem, 50 bucks a brand new one at the dealer, peace of cake, but soon after i switch my stereo to a aftermarket one(which i dont think has anything to do with it but just in case ), so here it goes,,,,, do i just need a controller ???? or do i need a whole new system?? system was working fine b4 y lost the control.......it is just not on or never goes off because i never push the lock button cause i lost it????? thank's you to anyone who helps!!!!!!!!

Whats the make and model of your car? Let me guess its a 97 civic. If so when you swapped out the head unit you also took out the keyless entry. Its built into the radio.

Your better off going aftermarket with security. The stock honda security will do nonething to help prevent your car from being stolen.
