get a DEI alarm with 2 way, and get lotsss of accessories with it. if you got money, get GPS and lojack too. and install some kill switches

decent alarm system..... $150+
accesories/sensors... $100+
stealth install....$$$ (you can save this if you have the skills to do the work yourself)

You can buy a decent one way, viper 350 plus for like 60 dollars on amazon. Just buy a second siren, a tilt sensor, and glass radar. Also buy a backup battery, very important.

Install at least 2 kill switches and you should be good to go, since most thieves will bounce once they figure out how many layers of security there is.

It's def not the best set up but it's good enough for most people. 2 way alarms are more recommended since the car sends you information through the remote so you always know what's going on.
