Clifford or Viper alarm with:

2 way pager - In case the alarm is triggered you will be immediately notified.

Backup battery - In case your car battery is disconnected.. the alarm will still go off and the thief will be in for a nice surprise. It also keeps the kill switch functional. This will NOT prevent your car from being stolen.. But it will give you time to come out and catch someone going to work on your car.

GPS, tilt sensor and other options are also available for an additional price.

Do not trust in only alpha locks, clubs, or a clutch lock. They CAN be broken.
Also, always park within a reasonable range of your car.. so you can be notified of any disturbances by the 2 way pager.

thanks for reply bud.
ill start looking into alarm and prices
is the two way pager something that will come as part of alarm system?
gps, tilt sensor....these things are 2 different additions to alarm?
is the alpha lock the thing that goes around wheel. exterior of car and looks like a big lock?

i think at home i should be ok because i will almost always have a car infront of my car. wifes wagon. but want to be safe either way.
more concered about going out, to the mall or whatever.
not that ive spent millions on the car, but a couple grand quick on basic fixes. new car to mee, and id hate to see it gone.

The two way pager usually comes with any good alarm system.
The gps and tilt sensor are considered accessories for the alarm. The GPS is WELL worth it.

And yes that's the alpha lock. All of these measures can easily save your car and have a thief looking for an easier target.

like the idea of removable steering wheel, especially because, i dont like the oem one too much.

i see the wheels are pricey....like everything else.
so i guess ill look for price on an alarm for the car. see what thats gonna run me...
and then look into the snap off steering wheel

thanks again for the help man
