Default Security CHECK!

Currently I have

The Club XL
Viper 550 ESP Alarm/Remote Start
-shock sensor
-mercury hood switch
gorrila wheel locks

Is this enough? I'm still extremely paranoid from how many Honda's get stolen everyday. What can I do next to help? I don't have a nice sound system (Alpine type r components and 6x9's, but no subwoofer) and my car is stripped. Upon closer inspection my car is lowered, has SI wheels, and a black intercooler (im paranoid) Thanks, and **** thieves to hell.

(woot happy 100th post for me)

how would i go about installing a fuel cutoff switch? the closest thing i could think of would be to install some remote thing on top of the opening into fuel tank on the wires, but I have no idea how.

a couple things worth looking into:
- a backup battery for your alarm.
- remove or replace power door switches so that they are not accessible with a coat hanger.
- relocate your hood release cable from the wheel well to the inside of your engine bay.

As mentioned, relayed kill switches or fuel system / ignition system interrupts are worth investigating. Make sure that their use is not to "obvious", and that you are able to disable them when taking your car to maintenence. (You DON'T want to have to tell the Jiffy-Lube guy how to start your car. Keep Everyone in the dark.

It's good to see others taking care of their rides.

now i've searched a bit for a custom fuel cut off, is it possible to install a remote one? I'm looking for one that I could put right ontop of my fuel tank right before the fuel pump. It would be nice to have it switch on/off with the AUX switch on my viper 550 control. I've definately heard great things about the blackjax security system, but how much do they run for? Should I order one offline then have a clifford place install it? Or just have them do it?

typically with a fuel cutoff you don't really want to integrate it into the alarm..as it puts all the wires in one place for a thief to work on. Just hide your switch somehwere crazy... I told a trusted friend which half of the car mine was in...and he still couldnt find it after 10 mins of searching... for me
