i am a very poor poor college student and im finally buying a gsr, what is the best and safest way to keep my car in my hands. I park outside and i live in a 'ehhh' neighborhood so please help me keep my car, thanks

I would suggest a fuel cutoff switch, a very good alarm, and good luck. When you have the alarm installed, make sure the installers are reputable. Also make sure they put the "brains" of the alarm in a not-so-obvious spot.

 

Autolock, club, pager alarm, and of couse the awp from inside ur house

 

If you're "very poor", I'd recommend saving your money and getting something more practical, like an 80's car. If you're that poor, you're not going to be able to afford the high insurance rates that GS-Rs have. Save your money and get a better place to live so you don't have to worry about theft, guns, etc.

There's more to life than having a nice car.

 

shouldn't have got a honda in the first place. Sell it and get a pos car.

Pos car = less money spent, less headaches, no theft paranoia, insurance friendly

 

My dad is going to be the primary driver of the car so insurance is going to be affordable. Also, I'm only spending 6k on the car, so I'm not getting a very expensive car. Thanks for all your help.

 

i say u get a 3rd gen civic... primer it up, lower it on some hubcap spinners, put a nike sign on the back along with "GONZALES" in old english font. put some NOS seat covers... and just drop a dope motor in... keep it beaned out... itll blend right in... on a serious note i dont think u should get a honda... honda="Please jack me"

my friend used to jack radios from hondas... 3 minutes tops... and thats from a car with an alarm.. cuz he had to disarm the alarm...

or i say u get a DA... those are pretty old... GRIP of potential... CHEAP... again its old, so its not a big concern, probably won get jackd... jsut tkae ur receiver face off when u leave it there.

a flashing light will not fool thiefs. alarm are too ez.get a manual fuel cutoff switch and a hood lock, AND ALOT OF LUCK

 

A good fuel switch will ensure they dont get away with the car. Relocating the hood switch will help keep them out of the engine bay. And depending on your local laws and how big your ***** are a gun isnt a bad idea.
