Default Routing Wires

I've tried the search option, but either i'm not typing in the right keywords to find topics or my question, is a noob one.

Anyways, what's the best way to route wires from the headunit and battery terminal to the amplifier, i'm talking about; should i just go under the mats, under the drivers seat and then through the backseat to the trunk? I've never done the actual installation of the wires myself, but my buddy wants to do it on his eagle talon, so what's the stealthiest way to route the wires so they're concealed.

And yes, route the power cable on the opposite side of the car or at least 4" away from the RCA from the HU this will help prevent noise.
