Default Replacing 2004 accord radio

I have a 2004 Accord LX 4 cyl the current radio is a 39050-sda-a010; which is a regular cd player. I bought a 39100-s82-a300; which is a cd changer and dual air.
Will this work? I only have two plugs a blue plug for the radio and a green plug for the air conditioner, I noticed the green conncetor on the new radio is inverted and it has an additional conncetor on the opposite side. Do I need more cables or this won't work.

I am not sure it will work.
I assume your LX is a single zone A/C system and the new HU is for a dual zone A/C system.

One of the plugs, [in your car] is for the HU, [blue plug] it will look like this... http://www.scosche.com/product...D/594
and plug into the the new HU, that will get the HU working, if the green plug will not plug into one of the remaining plugs, you may be able to "Jerry rig" something using the Metra dual zone to single zone A/C system adapter harness, 70-7864DZ... http://www.metraonline.com/dow...Z.pdf it was designed to adapt the Metra aftermarket dash kit from it's single zone A/C controls to a car with a dual zone A/C system, you may be able to use it in reverse, or maybe use one or more of the plugs to make an adapter so the new HUs dual zone A/C controls will work on your cars single zone A/C system.

It is definitely possible, but unless it is "plug and play", and that's unlikely, I would want a wire diagram of both the dual and single zone A/C systems, [control head wiring diagrams], probably available in a Haynes manual. 94

Where you ever able to come up with a wiring harness to allow you to use the dual zone control in the single zone vehicle? If "Yes" could you please post the wiring schematics you used?
Thanks much,
DG

Similar issue here - we have a 2004 Accord that came with an aftermarket metra kit and Pioneer radio. (looks like doo doo) The AC controls are the buttons from a single zone system. Defrost does not work and other buttons seem to stick or not respond so I would like to replace with a stock Honda single CS manual climate or 6 CD dual climate like we had on our 2003.
Does anyone know if a dual zone head unit can be installed on an originally single zone car, or how to tell if the car was originally single zone or dual zone? Would checking the VIN on carfax tell me?
