Re: remote turn on lead (BEN52)
You're saying you have the stock head unit? You're going to want to get the wiring diagram for the head unit (if you don't feel like testing wires with a test light/multimeter) and tapping off of a switched 12 volt signal. You don't HAVE to get the 12 volt signal from the head unit, but if you want the amp to turn on when you turn the stereo on, there is only one way to go. Do it right the first time

i know in the older civics like Egs there is a 12v signal in the fuse box area, perhaps you can wire something there. shouldnt be too hard

There are loads of switched 12v lines in the car but you want it to turn on when your stereo is on so you'll have to use the headunit remote wire. You may be able to get in from the back if you know what wire you're after otherwise you'll have to take it out.

Re: (Xsi)
get an aftermarket wiring harness for like $10 bucks take out your radio unhook the harness from the radio, hook the aftermarket harness up to in and see which one the blue lead wire matches up with. Tap into that on, run it to you lead on the amp and there you go. its done right the 1st time on the right wire and all you spent was like $10 and half an hour
