What are you trying to accomplish? Are you wanting to remove the whole system?

Before you go putting in a remote start system, check with your local law enforcement authorities regarding car warm-ups...Where I live, they can write you a ticket if you are not in the car while it is warming up, and they do this because too many people have had their cars stolen while the car was warming up.

Connections are made at more then one location in your car... http://www.directwholesale.net...eID=3 most are under the dash on drivers side, but door locks are on pass side and tach, siren and hood pin are in the engine bay.

you are not going to find a step by step for your car and your alarm. maybe one that is close (ie. your car different alarm) but if you dont even know where to tap into wires im not sure your ready to install it yourself.

i was confident in my install abilities and i still went to a pro. its your car tho

The alarm system for your car is not where you want to learn about electrical in your car.

Unless you are comfortable with 12V DC electrical, you own a multimeter, a soldering gun/station/pencil, an assortment of tools, [crimpers, side cutters, wire strippers, and screwdrivers 7, 8, and 10mm sockets/driver and ratchet, and the knowledge to use the above, find a pro to do it. 94

also, im not sure if you mentined what brand alarm you bought/are getting, but on compustar stuff if you buy the alarm at an authorized dealer and have them install it, the alarm and install both come with lifetime warenties. that in itself was worth it to me.

i cannot speak for other products like viper, crimstoper......

From your post I really think you need to take your car somewere and have it done right. Please don't test your skills on your car. No need to fubar your car. Do you have any tools to get the job done ?
