Default Remote Starter & Alarm

Need some advice here guys.
I'm looking for a remote starter and alarm, possibly combo deal. Any suggestions as to brands and specific models? I've heard it's not a good idea to purchase a combo b/c of the potential failure possibilities of both units at the same time. Also what can I expect to pay for the install?

I found this deal online for the remote starter only. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm...efree
Any opinions? I have owned a Clifford 900IQ on my teg and have been quite pleased with it. Clifford does not make its alarms as they used to so any and all thoughts are welcome.

TIA!!!

Check out the Compustar alarm/starter, they make them for standards also, very good units, two way pager with lots of range and options 94

I have a clifford G4 Solaris for sale that is brand new in the box. Which was made before clifford was bought out. So no DEI corruption on it.

if you get one fomr Circuit City, and have them install it. It's about 40-60 for installation. Sometimes it is iuncluded in the price of the unit. PLUS, when they install it, it is warranted for life. So no worrys about it pooping out on you. I have viper alarms or Lo-jack on everything I have owned. I like DEI stuff.
