i have remote start, but recently my car just turns on by itself for no reason. Anybody know what the problem could be?? thanks.

Is the starting random? Or is it at a certain interval of time? Some starters have a "timer mode", where it'll remote start, run for the set duration, shut down, then start up every 3 or 4 hours until you get in and reset the system by putting the key in the ignition...

Its in timer mode, happens often by accident. Read you manual.

 

On the DEI starters, timer mode is activated by pressing lock & unlock at the same time...
