As FCM stated Before...A Security system is a lot more complicated than installing
a radio..not really for a novice. If you are up to the challenge and have several
hours or days avail to you then go for it. If not turn it over to the professionals.

yea.. but all the relays are pre-wired, so it makes it somewhat easier... programming the remote will be in the manual.. and the rest is just wiring to the locks, horn, ignition, + & -...
Honestly, and I don't know your experience level, but if you have never tackled an alarm install before, don't startnow on your girls car. She'll be hating you if it gets weird or stops working. Alarms are all about the install. If you can't devote the proper time/attention to detail to install it right, you may as well wire it and leave it on the seat.
That being said, you won't need to program the remote. Put the battery in and hit the button. Also, I would install a backup battery and backup battery siren while you are in there.

Here is a hint list, and tool you will need
1- tools.... multimeter, [or ECU safe testlight] solder gun, [or solder station] 60/40 resin core solder, wire strippers , depinning tools, elec. tape, wire tyes, [zip tyes] and whatever tools needed to take apart the drivers side underdash.
2- you will need a wire guide, [tag in guide] http://www.bulldogsecurity.com.
3- the install guide for the remote start
Hints
1- check and test each wire you are tagging into, [make sure it is what bulldog says it is] its very inportant.
2- every wire you need to tag into, has a plug somewere along its path, [that can be unplugged, the metal pin in the plastic plug on that wire, can be depined, and and you can solder the remote starts wire to that pin, [ making sure not to interfear with being able to reinstall pin back into plug] or you can do it the old school way and strip the insulation off the wire, [about 1/4" to 1/2"] and wrap the remotes wire around it and solder and wrap it in elec. tape
.
3- all the ign. wires, [the ones on the relaypack] powers x2, acc., start, and the two ign. wires, [you may only need one ign.] can be done on the ign. harness, all the rest will be taged in around or on the fuse box, except the hoodpin and the tech, [they go into engine bay] and the brake sense, [it is taged in at the brake switch]
I hope this helps, you can IM me if you you have a Q, I will get back to you as soon as I read it.
Good luck

does anyone have the actual clifford rs instructions that can be scanned for me if they arent already online?? i looked and can't find any...
Curious, how much does it cost to install just that feature? The idiots who wired my alarm failed to wire the remote start feature. I can only guess as to what else they forgot or screwed up in.
I'm not going to try and wire it myself. I'll head over to the alarm shop that installed my alarm accessories for the RSX3.5.
Please any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

Well the shop i went to said since he couldn't reach for the clutch wires he's not going to bother with the effort. Reason being, there's too much testing involved. Guess he doesn't like money.
It's understanbable because he nor his guys didn't work on the install originally. There's so many relays involved that he doesn't want to screw it up. Hell I myself wouldn't touch it ( even if i had alarm experience ). Unfortunately the two guys that worked on my alarm accessories install weren't there.
I asked him how much he would charge for this particular case. He said $150 at most.
Damn, i'm going to try another shop tomorrow with my friend. Hopefully that doesn't fall through as well.
