Default Remote engine start

Most here would probably know about aftermarket units. But I would think OEM units would have the same flavor.

Question. GM for example, seem to offer Remote Start on just about every model.

Honda does not offer it.

Is there a reason? Meaning, are these things generally reliable?

What have you heard -experience from the aftermarket (or OEM) side?

It's all marketing. GM does it because of their customer base. Honda doesn't have to to sell cars. It's more stuff from the factory to break.
