Default Relocating headunit

I've only seen about 3 threads about this and it didn't really answer my question. I have a 96-98 coupe and want to add the headunit onto the cupholders. I have a aftermarket headunit (the clip on one). Anyway my question is it the same way as you do as a in a 99-00 civic?

Heres a DIY that I'll be following: http://www.clubcivic.com/board...58073

Will I have to rip off the climate control like that or is there another way?

Yea pretty much the same, except you already have the cup holder.
No you will not have to "Rip" out the climate controls, however if your car has an OEM key-less entry you will have to keep the OEM HU plugged in, [RF section is in the OEM HU] or replace it with an aftermarket RF unit, this may help... http://www.installdr.com/Insta....html
A "T" harness is also available... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...HA07B
Hope this helps. 94
