Ravelco or kill switch?
hey all,
after reaserching like mad on the best ways to NOT get my car stolen it's come down to this, no fancy alarm pager system or anythign like that will be usefull for my needs, i read the threads on kill switches and they look like a great idea...im getting one or 2 installed this week end,
now ive been reading and communicating with Ravelco Distributors, to get to know the product, it seem like a great anti-theft device, but i was wondering what those of you who know this product think about it, and is it worth the 300$ or will some 20$ kill switches do the trick?
thanks

I fail to see what the Ravelco can do that a kill switch couldn't. It looks like a glorified kill switch to me. IMO, for $300, you could install a kill switch as well as a good alarm system that will actually deter a theft attempt from happening in the first place.
thats how i was seeing it, but the ravelco seemed too god to be true, but once i sat down...though about it....and talk to my friends about it....a few kill switches that a thief will have to take for ever to figure out does the same job...for my needs anyway...
is there anyway of going around a kill switch? i mean other than finding the switch?
thanks
