Default rattling right speaker

i have a 95 gsr and my right passenger side speaker rattles every time i turn up the volume esp. when there is a lot of bass. i can hear the music coming from the speaker but its accompanied by this nasty "GZZ GZZZZ!" sound when the bass thumps. wat the hell is a matter with it? my friend tells me it could be a loose screw? any ideas?

You blew the speaker.

Take the grill off and examine the surround. If that's not damaged then either the cone is ripped or the voice coils are shot.

Either way you'll be needing new speakers.

they are probably right. take a look at your speaker and see the the foam ring (lined in red) is separated form the cone. if it is, then a new speaker is needed (unless u dont kare about annoying sound that much to buy a new one).

sounds like you blew that bad boy, not thoroughly expensive to get another one, but may as well do the whole stereo, only makes sense
