Does your car have the stock radio or is it a aftermarket radio?

Are there speakers in the car?? I've seen that more than once, when people came in with a newly bought (not bout) car, for a deck install, and I would install a deck and get no sound. Only to find out that the previous owner took the speakers out and threw the stock deck back in...

If there are speakers and it doesn't play, then 99% of the time radio powers up but no sound = grounded speaker wire or terminal.
