Radio code? 2001 Civic EX

I just bought a 2001 Civic Ex and reading the owners manuel, it says I need a code for the radio if the battery ever goes dead. Is there any way to get it without having to remove the radio???

Most new cars come with a card in the info pack that has the code on it. If your car came sans card, then no, there is no way of retrieving the card without pulling the radio.
