auction for a 2002 civic radio with bottom pocket is almost over..

i wanna know if the whole thing will fit in my 1991 integra?

will i need a mounting kit?
or will the cd deck and the bottom pocket fit right in?

someone stole my cd player not that long ago and took the whole mounting din...so its just a empty space in my integra..

i need this answer fast...auction is about to end..

If your Integra has a single DIN radio & a pocket then yes. It will probably require drilling to get the holes to line up and you'll need the factory brackets, but it can be done.

However, it will not be plug & play wiring wise. You will need a 71-1721 harness to plug into the new radio & a 70-1720 harness to plug into the Integra's wiring.

 

It is not a direct fit, as has been mentioned, the plugs are diff., but not a biggie to adapt, however the physical mounting of the HU and pocket are completely different, in your g2 the pocket is attached to the HU, [radio] and the HU is held in the dash with two 8mm machine screws at the back of the HU, [up through a rear support bracket into a "lip" on the rear bottom of the HU]... http://www.installdr.com/Insta....html

The 02 Civics HU and pocket are "ISO" mounted, 4 screws are used, [2 on each side of the pocket and the HU] to mount the HU and the pocket between a set of brackets, almost identical to the 2000 Civic... http://www.installdr.com/Insta....html

Some mode will have to be made to fit the 02 Civic HU and pocket into your g2. 94

PS.... If the HU and pocket are out of an SI things change somewhat.
