quick question about 4 CH > 2 CH

Default quick question about 4 CH > 2 CH

ok, my rear speakers just went out in my 95 civic hatch. since i won't be replacing those babies for a bit, would i get better sound quality if i set my 4 channel amp to 2 channel mode? any help would be appreciated.. thanks!

well if you bridge it you'll have more power going to the speakers. what speakers do you ahve and what amp?

ohh, thanks for the tip. i have 6.5" 3 way pioneers in front and a 800 watt 4 CH performance teknique amp.

are you crazy? are you hooking that amp up to the speakers???you WILL bust them the minute you turn your speaks on...6.5 speakers cant handle 800watts...most i've seen was 250 watts and those were competition speakers...If they are subs then go for it...

he's probably looking at 800 max across the 4 channels, not 800 per or 200 per channel rms.
