Default Quick question..

Hey guys, i was wondering which settings would be right for my amp. Its powering a 12" sub. Its a 800w amp and hits pretty clean, my question is which is the best setting for a clean low bass sound. My question is where should the settings on my amp be. IM talking about the ohms and the frequency controls, as they both can be adjusted. I want the lowest bass possible but also a nice bit of high bass. Thanks a lot and peace out, ed.

You're asking for two things, and several ways to get there. Plan A each will cancel each other. If you set a low-pass crossover for say, 50hz... the frequency will roll off above 50hz and not play very much "high bass" which is what your mids should play in you soundstage anyway. Most people will suggest setting your low pass crossover around 50 to 75hz.

Plan B is more of a function of enclosure instead of amplifier. You can build a ported enclosure, tune it to 25 to 30hz and it'll play mind numbingly low with a peak in the frequency response at the tuning frequency (25 to 30).
