Default questions about a head unit...

well im having some trouble with my panasonic head unit. Well for starters my "5" button .. which was "power 106" wasn't working.. it was stuck so i had to push it realllly hard to get to the station. Anyways i didn't care. About a week later my music would be on "mute" and all of a sudden the volume would blow up to 40 and i wouldn't be able to turn it down. Well it blew one of my speakers out so i took the whole head Peace off. So i put it back in and thought maybe it would work.. and it did... except i couldn't touch the volume up or down or else it would either blast up.. or go all the way down.
anyways so i took apart the head unit and found out the computer **** inside .. like the main button underneath was stuck... (hmm i dont know if that was clear but lets use a cell phone for example.. if you were to take the case off your cell and remove the plastic buttons 1245 ... etc .. it will be a little computer thing that when you press your "#2" it pushes the little computer thing underneath to make the #2) .. ok i seriously dont even know what i am saying so i dont expect you guys to understand either.. but hopefully you do.

anyways so i went inside the little computer **** and found that the little button inside was stuck.. i tried to pull it out but it broke.. i figured ok cool its not stuck anymore so i put the little Peace of plastic back into the computer **** and put the case back together... i put it back into my car and now its completely broken.. my #5 works fine now but i guess i broke the volume up and down.. is their anyway i can fix this? i really hope im making sense.. ill try to post pics up..

sounds like you got some gunk in the buttons. try taking a toothbrush and cleaning under the buttons.
