question about Alpine cda-7894 cd player
i am trying to decide what the best cd player for under $400 is. I want it to look good, but more importantly i want good sound and reliability. if anyone has had a problem with the Alpine CDA-7894, or has a better cd player for the price, please let me know. I have pioneer premier 6.5's and 2 Alpine 10 Type-S Sub's. Thanks (suggestions on where to buy it would be helpful to)
Hmmm... I don't remember what the model number of it was, but on my Alpine CD player, the tilt feature started to get a little messed up. Beware of that. I'm sure there is someone else on here that has experience with this particular model.
Also, people are talking about it here:

upgraded to this headunit the day our store got them in stock a few months ago and have not had any problems w/ it at all.. never used any other mp3 headunit besides my friends cheapo aiwa.. just to let you know i have a full alpine typer componets, typer rear coaxials, 12 typer sub w/ alpine amps and an eq.. maybe im biased to alpine but its great.. if you get from a major store like circuit or best buy get the extended service plan w/ it tho just incase the motorized face starts actuing up, always a good thing to know it will be fixed or replaced instead of having to shove out 400 for a new one a year later..
Ive had the 7995 for a little over a month now and i couldn't be more happy with it. but then again...i am also a little biased to alpine. i have the MRV-F340 amp with type R 6X9's and the Type X flagship components are on their way.
