Default Python remote starter, drive without key

Python 880XP

Right now I can actually remote start it and drive it without the key, in the manual it says possible causes could be the brake sensor wiring. But what if I had the car runnin, someone could just jump in yank the brake wiring and drive away? I never knew this

Thats why the brake wire needs to be taged. And also the car can not rev up over a 2k without it shutting off. So the car can not be driven away.

The alarm triggering will shut down the remote start as well as the tach overrev, as wrx-killer mentioned. I would assume you would normaly have the alarm armed when the vehicle is outside running, if not, the + brake shutdown and overrev will protect you.
