Default Python brand systems

The shop near me only carries python brand DEI products. This shop is very reputable and does really good installs, but I'm not sure about the quality/options available to me for the python system. I want to have this shop do the installation but I haven't heard much talk about python alarms. Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions about their products?
Thanks, bud

yeah its basically a rebadged DEI/Viper alarm.. they make all those snake and bug sounding alarms.. Rattler, Stinger, Viper, Hornet, Wasp, etc.. and they also own Clifford and Avital now... they make decent alarms.. but make sure you get a good install.. a good alarm w/ a bad install isn't going to do much.. things that are important are brain placement (hidden as well as possible) as well as the relays for starter kill, clean soldered connections, stealth wiring, hood pins and door and trunk triggers, properly mounted sensors that don't false all the time.. etc.. a quality install job costs money.. go to a car alarm/stereo shop that knows what their doing or have a friend (who does good installs) do it like I did... don't go to those chain stores as they will just do a basic install where you drop the lower panel and the brian is right there..
