So I am looking at the Pyle fm modulator (product number PLMD9). It's the one with the digital read out and the one you can choose any station you want to transmit to. My question is if the station is bleed out all the time or does it cut on and off either with volume or on a switch. I've seen some that don't require a switch and it turns itself on when an ipod or something is plugged in and the volume reaches a certain output level. Anyone know how this one works? Thanks in advance.

 

No that unit is activated by a switch installed on either the 12 volt power lead or 12 volt ground lead.

 

well maybe someone can help me find what I am looking for. I need a WIRED fm modulator and I can tune to any station. It also needs to turn on and off by audio output. They make one's tunable to any station (the pyle one) and they make models that are turned on and off by audio out put (a dynex one we sell here at best buy) but I need one that does both. Anyone know if there is such a product out there?

 

JVC KS-IF200??? I think I found one that might work. Anyone familiar with this unit? It says that it turns on and off with inputs so, maybe this is what I've been looking for. I just want a first hand experence before I buy one. Thanks
