I just got a decent sub setup which is about 450 watts. I Have a capacitor. I am just wondering would i need anything else if i put AEM pullies on my car.
You know of course that the AEM pullies will UNDER-drive your alt, giving you less amperage to work with? I would recommend not getting them if you plan on going really loud although with 450 watts you are probably ok. I also recommend upgrading the main wire from the alt to the fuse box and from the fuse box to the battery to 4 gauge and add a 4 gauge ground wire from the alternator support bracket to the grounding point for the battery negative cable.

I have the pullies on now. I just needed to find the belt that will work with the JRSC. haven't noticed any problems yet when its turned up normally. When i crank it my interior light and headlights will dim a little though
. Im going to pick up a capacitor next week. any suggestions on brand names? JL stuff sounds so good
