Hey everybody,
So whenever i play burnt CD's in my deck the tracks sound very crackly and break up. Usually the first three songs will be fine, and it happens on the 4+ tracks. I play these burnt CD's on other stereo's and they sound fine so i know its not my burner. The deck is about a year old, and is a panasonic bought from circut city without a warrenty....(i forget exact model, but see picture) Any advice on what i should do?
Thanks yall
sorry about the crappy picture, its all i have right now... Its the panasonic that lights up blue.

try buring the discs at a lower speed. The lower the speed the more complete the burn... some units have trouble reading certain discs burned at the higher speeds.

expensive media doesn't necessarily equal better. just try different brands and see what works best. if you know someone who uses a differnet brand, try one of theirs, so you don't have to buy a whole package.

Ive tried SONY, TDK and Memorex and they all do it. I kinda figured that if all three of these crackle then its just burnt cds as a whole. Thanks, is there any paticular brand or cd you would try?

I like Maxell TDK and Memorex the best so if they arnt working for you it is probably not the disk. Try burning it slower like he said or maybe your HU just doesn't like burnt cds. I don't know?
