the remote will not work from far way it only works on the driver side and u have to point it at the red flashing light. alarm was just installed do you think the brain neeeds to be replace or what can i do to fix it. it is in a 95 civic ex

 

Where is the alarms antenna located?

 

hell if i know. dident know there was one. i was told it was in the brain

 

Take it back to the shop/person that installed it and tell them the issues you are having.

Sounds like a crappy install.... Or maybe just a dead battery in the transmitter... I've had Viper alarms have poor range out of the box because of old batteries...

 

i have tryed two different remotes. i am sure the install is good. he even zip tied the wire taps. does anyone know where the antena is on the Aps 25?

Well there's your first problem... Shady installers use taps.

I bet the brain is just ziptied up under the dash, too....
