Default power window question??

okay so i'm installing a universal power window kit by spal and was just wondering... when i just connect the red and black wires from the main motor (power and ground) the motor turns the crank one way( rolls the window up)... now i'm wondering what makes the window roll down, what makes the motor run in reverse. There's no control module i'm thinking it's just how you wire the switches?

Can anyone who has a little knowlege of this help explain this to me and how i would wire it up. thanks

well most motors like that are reverse polarity type...when you reverse the pos and negative wiring the motor works in the opposite direction.

Yes. One wire rests at ground and the other wire gets power. The switches are I believe 5 wire?
