Default power door locks

i have a 92 honda civic cx and i was just wondering what all would i have to do to switch my car from manual door locks to power? the only reason i am doing it is so i can take advantage of the keyless entry with my alarm system. is it possible to just buy a universal actuator and just hook that straight up to the alarm system? thanks

For my alarm system, it has a built in relay in the brain for the central control lock plug in so I didnt have to wire in relays but if you did i think they'd be stdp relays. Check in your alarm's manual to see if yours already has a built in relay.

You will need 2 SPDT relays wired like this...

Courtesy of http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relays.asp you should read this.

Or you can get a central door lock system like the Audiovox ProPDL25... http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220PRPD...25.html?tp=154
Then you do not need the relays and your manual door lock switch becomes a power door lock switch. 94
