Default Power Door lock help!

I have a 1998 civic ex sedan. Out of no where the power door locks no longer work via. switch, key, viper alarm.

i switched out the actuator, door lock module (blue box in drivers door) and checked fuse 51 which is for sunroof and locks but my sunroof works fine.

What else could it be? is there a relay somewhere i dont know about? thanks in advance

There is no relay, check the white/green lead going to "Power Door Lock Control Unit" for power, should be 12V+ at all times, [fuse 51], if there is no power on the white/green, check for a break in the white/green in the drivers door jamb boot.

If white/green has power check for a groun on the black lead at the "PDLCU", if no ground, again check for break in door jamb boot. 94

Well we won't know untill you test power to the unit. There has to be power and ground to it.

Ok so the White/Green wire at the module is dead. I think im gonna try to run my own power wires from the fusebox through the door jamb harness to the module

Why not just repair the white/green lead, it is most likely broken in the door jamb boot, it is a common problem. [broken leads in drivers door jamb boot] on just about any car, the older the car the more common the problem.94

You should not need to pull the fender, unplug the door harness and pull boot into the door and out the speaker opening, slide boot down the wire harness and make repairs.

If your door harness plug is not on the "A" pillar and is on the door, unplug it and pull it into the car and make the repairs. 94
