Default Please help!

So I was going to school this morning and listening to my music and I'm at a red light just listening away. All of a sudden, the radio and the clock go out; no weird noise or anything, they just died and the music stopped; literally (haha, get the pun?) Anyways, I figure it's a blown fuse or something and stop by radio shack and pick up an assortment of fuses (7.5, 10, 15) and look at the cover and change what I think to be the right fuse. Turns out it didn't work. As it turns out, the radio and the clock aren't even on the same fuse; just to be safe, I replaced both anyways and no luck. The factory service manual didn't help too much but to show me the same thing the fuse diagram showed me. It's an aftermarket Alpine radio if that makes any difference. I'm not running any external amplification to it so there is no extra power drain. I have no idea what's going on; anyone help? Please?!

Did you replace the fuse under the dash or under the hood? The radio and clock are on the same cct in my car....
