Yes, you can go that route. The Demon is $249.00 plus $150 for the Neptune License = $399.00

You will then install this into a standard socketed ECU..
As you will see, the full package just makes it easy for you to get up and running
249 for Demon, plus 150 for License, plus 150 for ECU = $549.00 (clear cover is free)

one more thing. would this ECU possibly get me more HP? i've read you can get (chipped) ECUs that increase your HP.

You will want to have it tuned for the most power and best driveability. We will upload a basemap to the ECU for you to get you up and running, however tuning on a dyno will yield the best power.
