OEM integra tweeter help
I have a 95 LS with no tweeter on the door panals. Recently I've got GS-R door panels with tweeters. How do I connect the tweeter? where do I connect the wires?
Well, i dont know if Acura runs them through a crossover or off the deck, but if you dont have a crossover of some sort, you will wind up blowing them b/c of the bass being sent to the mids.. If you dont care, then you can either wire them from the (+) (-) on the door speaker, or from the deck.. i recommend a crossover, or kiss em goodbye over time.
acura dosnt use a x-over they have a small capacitor on the back of the tweeter itself, just piggyback it off the speaker line thats is conected to the mid, thats the way it comes from the factory. Good luck.

Grey/black wire: Negative
Passenger side door: Red/green wire: Positive
Brown/black wire: Negative
You wont blow them if wire them up wrong it just wont sound good cause it will be out of phase with your other speakers.

I'm afraid you're going to be dissapointed with the results. Adding shims to help remount and redirect the sound to the passengers, instead of the middle of the car will help, but these tweeters just aren't too impressive.
