Default Re: oem harness

ok so i think i figured it out but just want to make sure.

there was an extra connector on my original harness grey in color next to the blue/white connector on top of the fuseblock and there wasnt one on the new(used) harness im guessing that its for the fact that the car is auto and the car i pulled it from i am unsure what it was cuz there was no shifter or center console for that matter but im guessing it was a manual cus i was looking thru the service manual and there is 8 wires on the grey plug and there is 8 wires in total for shift lock silonoid (2) / park pin switch and at gear position console light (4)/ gear position trim indicator light(2) but im not sure if it would be ok if i just left this unpluged or not i dont have a stock cluster i have a ap1 cluster so no gear indicator present.
