so i have a 98 civic ex with a cassette player, its the first pic of a white plug with a with 8 prongs in it, and i have a cd player from an accord with a blue square plug. is there any way i can make that cd player work in my car?

 

You will need a HU from a later model Honda/Acura that has the "square" plug in it and that will be a bit of a pain as your HU is not exactly DIN, although a DIN HU wil fit its just the left side of trim will not match, no angle on a DIN HU.

You could check and see if anyone makes an adapter for newer changers into older HUs. 94

 

sweet ok i have the HU that goes to the cd player but id like to keep my civic one if possible,
im pretty unfamiliar with car audio in general (i all ways said the most i would do to my stereo was pull it out, but that's nor here nor there) so who/what companies would have adapter?
would it be possible to make an adapter? the blue plug has way more wires than the one in my car so i don't know how it would wire up or the correct way to do it
would any one here on h-t be able to make an adapter?
