Default NRG locking hub

I'm thinking about getting an NGR quick release set-up for my car and the locking hub mainly b/c where I'm moving to now I'm going to have to park on the street b/c my driveway is too steep my my car to go up. but my question is how good does the locking hub work? is it supposed to be a deterrent so that when people see it they don't bother or can you take a crowbar to it and pop it off?

I doubt you could just "pop" it off with a crowbar...

I see them as a good layer to an existing alarm / kill switch system, but they're pretty low-security when used by themselves...

Wait, you can get a good brand name alarm for the same price or less then an NRG quick release/locking hub, and it will be much better at deterring theft of car or content then removing the steering wheel. 94

well it's not just buying it...there's a guy on my local forum that does excellent installs for a lot of Hondas, and the price of install and the alarm is out of my price range at the moment
