Noob needing help on CD player install
Well I've never installed a CD player before so I need some help. I have a Panasonic CD player and its going in a 88 hatch. The plug for the antenna and the factory wire harness is attached to the car. I know I need a female adapter to plug into the factory radio wire harness, but I'm lost after that.
Here are a few pics of the CD player, I need to know what else I need to get to make it work. Also need to know how to hook it up
please.

You need the Panasonic wiring harness to plug into the rectangular connector with all of the pins, and you need the mating harness to plug into the car's harness. Connect those two wiring harnesses together (matching color to color) and plug them in to the appropriate locations. Done.
Get one of these, [harness adaptor]... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...HA02B also available from Metra and Best kit, you should also get one of these... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...D=BS9 back brace , if you did not get one with the HU.
The adaptor harness will wire to the Panasonic's harness color for color, use the "back brace" to make an "L" bracket mount to back of HU with the 8mm machine screw that came with the HU, [bottom of "L" (_) should be level with bottom of HU] it will mount to the rear support bar in the car, same one that holds the stock HU in place.
Feel free to IM me if you have any questions.
