whats so great about Alpine? its just about neck and neck with Pioneer.. if you think its so badass because of the higher wattage then you are stupid. internal amp sucks ***..

its not the wattage its the FEEL of the ///ALPINE as it rolls off your lips

its the complete pleasure you feel when you look at the radio

its the feel of it man...

anyway im thinking of this pioneer as i still want to play cassetes

any good?

not reakky, but they still sell them on the side of the road, and danehall cassetes make sense as the songs are short

and i can play mp3s through the cassete part from a portable player

 

My take on headunits is this....I've been an installer for like 6 yrs, so I've seen and had alot....

I'm an old Alpine fan but I hate they're new decks. Too much bling and **** normal people would never use. For sound quality, they are top notch though. Eclipse are my favorite for sound quality and ease of use. Pioneer stand up to anything, and have a great feature base. They won't sound as clean as a Alpine or Eclipse, but they'll cost you less and you'll get more features. Displays are way better too IMO. I have a Pioneer right now with XM....Love it, and since I don't have an Alpine right next to it to switch to, I don't notice any difference in sound
Clarions are nice too, just not too familiar with them. Anything I didn't mention, I don't like.....
