Default Neg ground output

Negitive ground output...

what does that mean? It is on my warning gauge...does that mean that I should ground my warning light to this "neg ground output" to get the light to illuminate during warn mode?

What kind of gauge is it? Sounds like that is what it's for. However in some cases this wire can't be used as the ground, but are used to trigger a relay which is grounded. It depends on the amp rating on hte wire.

its a greddy fuel pressure warning gauge. On their website, its phrased like that.

So if this "neg ground output" is the same as plungers on alarms...then when the gauge activates this output, the current will change from negative to positive?

If I were to hook up an LED or lamp of some sort...should I use the neg ground output for the cathode, or the anode on the LED?
